Paradigm and Kansas 811 are hosting the fifth annual Kansas 811 Run in downtown Wichita on Sunday, Aug. 11. The evening features three races for all ages, highlighted by an 8K run.
Our Runners Village will be a great place to hang out before and after the race with attractions such as the Cox Utilities 811 hot-air balloon, bouncy houses, music from DJ Brent Hightower, and many other games and giveaways. Local food trucks B.S. Sandwich Press and Breezy’s Snow Shack add some additional flavor for runners and attendees.
The starting line for each race is near the big parking lot as Seneca becomes Central along the Arkansas River. As of August 6, more than 320 people have signed up for the Kansas 811 Run.
Proceeds from the race benefit The Laughing Feet Performers, a Wichita organization that nurtures artistic expression from special needs students and provides them performance opportunities.
