As we complete our last 2019 pipeline safety meetings in November, Paradigm is looking toward 2020 and aims at expanding the pipeline safety and damage prevention messages to more first responders, public officials, and excavators across the United States.
In Texas, Paradigm has secured Texas 811, the state's One-Call system, to provide safe-digging messages at more than 100 CoRE, CoRE-EX, and Excavator programs in Texas. Texas 811 will be present at many meetings and will provide a video on 811 practices at others.
Also in Texas, Paradigm is conducting Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Programs (HSEEPs) at eight locations, an increase from 2019. We are also holding HSEEP meetings in Illinois, Oklahoma, Minnesota, and for the first time, Kansas, Indiana and North Dakota.
Each of those states, along with Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio, and Oregon, begin programs in January.
As the 2020 schedule continues, Paradigm will continue its work with Pipeline Associations in the Pacific Northwest (PANW), North and South Dakota (NDPA and SDPA), Kansas (KPA), Minnesota (MN CAER), Missouri (PAM), and Nebraska (NPA), and Tennessee (PIPE).
